Ruth Hoyt photographs delicate situations in the natural world, from a baby black-necked stilt imitating its parents to a night-blooming cereus cactus that requires nocturnal pollinators such as bats and moths. Ruth's photography is based in the Rio Grande Valley of south Texas, but she travels throughout North America and as far as South Africa. Ruth's repertoire includes self-assignments, commissioned work, leading photographic tours and workshops, private instruction, consultation and speaking engagements for a wide variety of audiences. |
